Kowen House
This full interior renovation project focused on reconfiguring key wet areas while enhancing both functionality and overall flow throughout the home. The design approach prioritised spatial efficiency, improved circulation and elevated finishes, transforming the residence into a refined and highly liveable environment.
A significant part of the renovation included the addition of a walk-in pantry and a generous walk-in robe to the main bedroom. These inclusions not only increase practical storage but also introduce a greater sense of luxury and organisation to everyday living. New robes have been installed throughout the home, ensuring consistency in finish and improved functionality across all bedrooms.
The contemporary kitchen forms the centrepiece of the interior transformation. Featuring Series 8 Bosch appliances, including a built-in coffee machine, the space combines performance with clean architectural detailing. Brass accessories introduce warmth and contrast, while the adjoining walk-in pantry ensures the main kitchen remains streamlined and uncluttered.
The ensuite has been reimagined as a private retreat, complete with dual shower heads and a custom 1800mm vanity that provides both presence and practicality. Carefully selected finishes elevate the space while maintaining durability and ease of maintenance.
Externally, the addition of a substantial 60m² deck with a lined ceiling pergola significantly extends the living area. This outdoor zone strengthens the indoor–outdoor connection and creates a versatile space for entertaining, relaxing and everyday family use.
This renovation demonstrates how thoughtful reconfiguration, quality materials and carefully integrated additions can completely redefine an existing home while preserving its underlying character.
