Our Process.

Exceed Homes is dedicated to understanding our client’s needs in order to meet your expectations. To do this we employ a consultative approach we term “3D Building”. That is, we consider the build from every angle and ensure you are involved and informed.

The Exceed Homes “3D Build” comprises the following:

Discuss.

We make sure we understand what you are looking for, what you want to achieve with your home and how you want to work with us. We also keep you fully informed throughout the process through access to our project management portal which enables you to view and approve quotes, products, designs as well as keeping track of progress on a daily basis.

Design.

We ensure that the build, or renovation, best meets what you are looking for, what is architecturally and structurally feasible; and what is most appropriate for the existing block. We engage architects who are well versed in current theory and best practice and are also happy to work with someone of your choosing. We also have an interior designer who supports you, if you require, to provide guidance on how to make your home stand out even more.

Deliver.

This is where the rubber hits the road. We deliver builds through a robust project management system, overseen by our Project Manager. All of our builds are managed through an online portal which you have access to that provides you with up-to-date status of the build, pictures of progress, and timelines for completion. We employ a dedicated team of tradespeople who, when required, are supported by a pool of sub-contractors who we know and trust.

Discussion

We meet with you to understand your needs in order to develop a quote and contract. This ensures we know and understand your expectations so we can plan how we are going to exceed them.

Our discussion process includes:

  • Client planning meetings
  • Architect engagement, progressing Concept plans to working drawings
  • Interior and Exterior design
  • Engagement with key suppliers to select custom finishes

Buildertrend
Exceed Homes use this online tool to project manage our builds. This provides you with access to the contracts, selections, progress, costs etc. We upload your selections to Buildertrend so that you can provide your acceptance and are in control of the process. This is one way we keep in contact with you during the build. However, Exceed Homes will also maintain our relationship with you by ensuring we communicate with you regularly to understand how we are exceeding your expectations and what we can do to improve.

Building Approval Process

Exceed Homes will assist in obtaining all of the necessary approvals to ensure your home is built to comply with all local regulations, best practice and standards. This includes and is not limited to:

  • Soil classification
  • Structural engineering
  • Working plans
  • Glazing/EER/BASIX
  • Home Warranty
  • Utility compliance
  • Surveying requirements

    Project Closure

    We meet with you to close off the project and welcome you to your new home. We hope at this stage that your expectations have been exceeded and we stay in contact with you to ensure this is the case. We ask for feedback on how we can improve as well as what we did well.
